About Me

Live Fearlessly…

My first time rock climbing – Placerville, CA

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men [and women] who find it easier to live in a world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

– Muhammed Ali

Spring Break in South Beach, Florida

I’m Samantha Calderon, a dreamer who refuses to settle for normality. My story doesn’t read like the typical escape from the cubicle tale, however, I have only been able to travel for short bursts of time here and there because of my university schedule. Luckily, that will no longer be a problem come June 15th! Since I am going through a major transition, I have accepted that I have and will continue to make mistakes, but I have also accepted that there are endless, unknown possibilities waiting for me all over the world.

Taking a dip into the Hoyo Azul – Dominican Republic

“When it’s really for you… it doesn’t matter who’s hating, doubting, or hoping you fail. You just keep working, believing, and pursuing what’s in your heart. Obstacles are the things we see when we take our focus off of our goals… So I wish you tunnel vision, a fresh perspective, and a resilient spirit…I just pray you allow what God has put in your heart to guide you more than what the world has put before your eyes.”
